Sweet, fun loving Paige’s joy for life will make you smile. This girl was hit by a car and relinquished to a high kill shelter in Kentucky. Wagging Hearts rescued her and our vet had to amputate her injured leg but it sure doesn’t slow her down! Paige loves to play with the dog in her foster home, go for long walks (5 miles!) and get petted by the young children in her foster family.

Paige enjoys attention after spending recovery time in a kennel and can’t wait to find her forever family. Her foster mom reports that she is wonderful with kids and played very well with the neighbor’s puppy. While she loves walks, Paige tends to bark at other dogs (wanting to play) and it can be intimidating to others. This is something that her foster family is working on.
Paige is spayed, crate trained and up to date on vaccines. She is about 9 months old.

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.
