Beagle - Young - Female
Adoptable Medium Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

My name is Tia. I am a young 2 year old female Beagle, weighing about 20 pounds. I’ll be very honest, the world is incredibly frightening to me. I am still figuring out how it works. Fortunately, Wagging Hearts is helping me find a safe forever home. Right now I am in a foster home and learning more about trust every day. I never knew that beds could be so warm and comfortable. I never knew that humans are actually my friend. My foster mom likes to hold me and snuggle me…and I’ve realized that is what life is all about. I love to be held and be given a “belly rub,” but don’t tell anyone because I only feel safe with certain people. It takes me time to trust, but when I do, I show you how loyal and loving I can be. I am a subtle little lady, and I extend my paw when I want you to keep petting me. The time in my foster home has helped me to show my personality, and I know a furever home will allow my spark to come out even more. I’m hoping my furever home with be with adults who live a calmer lifestyle. Kids are okay, but they move too fast for my taste. I am a low key girl, only needing to go outside 3 times a day and I am housetrained. I am not so sure about leashes, so a little fenced yard would be really nice. I will never bother you, but I so appreciate attention and affirmation. Even though I am a Beagle, I am not a barker. I have a young foster dog sister, and she’s really nice. We like to chew on bones together and sometimes (again don’t tell anyone) I even play tug of war with her. I am comfortable with other dogs, especially small ones or nice ones, or even playful ones. My favorite times are when I get to walk around the yard with my foster mom, puppies and dogs all together. So that’s a little bit about me. I am willing to share more if you will take the time to know me.
