Photos for Patriots is Here!

Petco is celebrating the Fourth of July early with Photos for Patriots which offers professional photos of your precious pets against a patriotic backdrop. What better way to celebrate than dressing up your furbabies and heading over to Petco to share that moment with a photo! Did we mention Wagging Hearts will also be at there with some of our scrumptious adoptables! We can’t wait to see who shows up to participate and what cute outfits present themselves.

Don’t forget to grab your friends, family and pets and join us Saturday, June 22, 2013 between 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. to participate in Photos for Patriots! This event is sponsored, coordinated and developed by our good friends at the Petco in Round Lake Beach. ALL proceeds will be donated to Wagging Hearts!

Patriot photo packages start at only $5! What better way to share your day than with us and your pet dressed in their patriotic best as the lights of the camera flash away. Make this a day to celebrate in anticipation of this Fourth of July, a day to remember with your entire family.

When she is all done you may need to go search for her because she has tucker herself into a nap, but if you turn the lights on she will wake right up. She get along so well with her foster sister Liberty. Liberty is very protective of the small fur kids, when she doesn’t see cries for them. Please consider adopting her.

Furry Ending for Rocco

Furry Ending for Rocco

Rocco is a 6 year old Yorkie that came to us a few weeks ago. He was in great health but needed to find his forever home. At our adoption event last weekend, Rocco met his match.  He was adopted by a couple that fell in love with him instantly when they walked in the door. They picked him up and never put him down. The night he went home he came into his house and settled right in to his like he has lived there his whole life. Everyday he sits with his parents and they are inseparable.
